Can I return or exchange my order?


yes!, 14 days no questions asked exchange or return . Even if you installed it and realized it doesn’t suit your space, no problem. We only ask that the piece is still in the same condition and comes back with the original packaging.

Where are your products made?


Everything is handmade in Egypt, at our family-run workshop.

Can I install your lighting outdoors or in humid areas (e.g., bathrooms)?


Some of our finishes can handle humidity better than others. If you’re installing in a bathroom or an outdoor space, just message us and we’ll recommend the best finish for that environment.

Materials & Care

What materials do you use, and how durable are they?

solid brass, borosilicate glass, and wood are our favorite — all materials that age well and hold up over time. These aren’t plastic pieces — they’re made to last and look better with age.

Will brass change color over time?

Yes but not anytime soon — it takes years. We coat every piece to protect it, and sometimes even pre-oxidize the finish to give it character and more protection from the start. Over time, that coating gradually fades, and the brass naturally develops a patina — a slow, graceful shift that adds richness, not wear. which is a part of the beauty of real brass.

How do I care for my lighting?


Caring for our products is simple: light dusting every now and then is enough. If the glass gets dusty, you can remove and wash it gently — just handle it carefully like you would any glass decor.

Installation & Use

Do I need a professional to install your products?


Any qualified electrician can handle it. But if you’re in Cairo, you can benefit from our free installation offer . And if you’re somewhere else in Egypt, we offer paid installation to make things easier. just contact us.

Do you offer installation services?


Yes. In Greater Cairo, we currently offer free delivery and installation. If you’re outside Cairo, we can still arrange it — just message us and we’ll quote the cost.

Shipping & Delivery

How long will it take to receive my order?


Most of our pieces are made to order, which means they’re built fresh, just for you. That takes time — usually between 7 to 25 days. If we have your item in stock, it’ll ship much faster. Either way, we’ll message you after your order with an exact timeline so you’re never left guessing.

How do you package fragile items?


We’ve shipped chandeliers and glass across the world with less than 1% damage. We build every box ourselves, layer by layer, with care. If anything does arrive broken (rare, but it happens), we’ll replace it. Just let us know within 24 hours of delivery.

What if I receive a damaged item?


Let us know within 24 hours of receiving it. We’ll replace or repair it — no debates, no excuses. We know you waited for it, and we’ll make it right.

Do you ship to the Gulf / MENA region?


Yes, we do. We’ve shipped to the Gulf many times, but for now, it’s not automated on the website. Just reach out to us through WhatsApp or Instagram and we’ll handle it personally.

Do you ship internationally? How much does it cost?


Yes — but like the Gulf orders, international shipping isn’t automated yet. If you’re outside Egypt and want something, message us on Instagram or WhatsApp and we’ll get you a shipping quote and handle the process directly with you.

Can I see your lighting in real-life installations?


Yes. We often post photos and videos from client homes and commercial projects on Instagram. You can also visit our stockists like Kandil Egypt to see pieces in person.

Do you offer gift packaging or custom notes?


Yes, we do. If you’re buying something as a gift, let us know. We’ll make sure it arrives beautifully packed, with a handwritten note if you want one.

Can I request a piece in a different finish or color ?


Definitely yes , Every piece is handmade and work with all kinds of finishes and colors, we can usually match your mood or interior easily. Just send us a message with your request.

Can I modify the size or shape of a chandelier or lamp?


Yes. Most of our products are built when ordered, so size tweaks are doable. If you’re trying to fit something in a tight space or need it larger for a hall, we can adjust accordingly.
